Smoke Rise Band is a group of talented musicians who have been performing together for over eight years in the Fort Worth/Dallas area.  They have music to fit the tastes of almost any age group.  "Smoke Rise Band" prides themselves in being versatile and good at any kind of music from Country to current pop songs to 50's and 60's.

Smoke Rise Band has performed at many country clubs and special events.  Their many engagements include a wide variety of weddings, and private and corporate parties. 

Smoke Rise Band not only plays the songs that people what to hear, but they are seasoned performers who get involved with the audience and in many clubs perform especially prepared shows. 

No one person is the star of Smoke Rise Band; but all four musicians are professionals, working together with four-part harmony, and spotlight featured solos.

As you can see, the talent is there, the music is there and the fun is there.  The four guys who make Smoke Rise Band exciting, also make for an enjoyable evening, no matter what the style of club or party.

The Band Members

Wayland Davis Bass, Guitar, Lead and Background Vocals Wayland has been playing guitar and string instruments for 25 years . He is able to sing lead vocals for any style of song. He also writes and performs original material. Over the years he has been a regular guest artist on the Grapevine Opry Show. Wayland has made individual appearances on Johnny High’s “Country Music Revue” and was a local finalist in “KPLX Wrangler Country Showdown” talent completion.

Kent Bays Keyboards, Guitar, Lead and Background Vocals  Kent is a native of Dallas Texas  He has played professionally for over 25 years and during this time he has played with numerous local groups.  His versatility allows him to sing lead for many different types of music.   One of his hobbies includes recording music at his home studio.

Jason Greene Drums, percussions, vocals Jason has played professionally since High School.  He played with the Weatherford College Jazz band and with a variety of bands at the local club scene.  After a recommendation and audition he landed the touring drummers spot for Capital Recording act Mason Dixon.  He performed throughout the USA opening for such acts as Hank Williams Jr., Steve Warner, and Gary Morris.

Note:  Steel Guitar and fiddle is also available depending on the style of music booked.
